7000 football fans saw a thrilling TrioBet Baltic League final at Riga Skonto stadium where FBK Kaunas were crowned the champions after defeating Skonto FC 2:1.
Lithuanian side FBK Kaunas took the lead after 24 minutes when Luka Aničič struck the ball past Germans Malins in Skonto's goal. Just three minutes later Tomas Miklinevičius made it already 2:0 in favour of the Lithuanians.
But Skonto showed that they are no pushowers, when they had great chances to come back to the game already in the end of the first half.
Both Kaunas and Skonto finished with then men as Aleksands Cauna (Skonto) and Kestutis Ivaškevičius (Kaunas) were both sent off on 63rd minute by Estonian referee Hannes Kaasik.
Skonto's substitute Vladimir Dvališvili used the penalty shot on 84th minute, but that was not enough to save the game. Kaunas, who performed extremly well in UEFA Champions League this season, took the title.
