FK Ventspils hosts the last and most important match in TrioBet Baltic League (TBL) semi-finals on 8 October at 15:00 in Ventspils Olympic Center. FBK Kaunas will come and try to score more than one goal and at least draw to get the second ticket to TBL finals, as the first match was drawn in Kaunas 1:1.

As announced, the first TBL finalist Skonto FC Riga got through the TBL semi-finals with remarkable 8:2 aggregate victory over FK Riga.

But the TBL winner of 2008 will be clarified in one match final at 25 October 15:00 in Riga - Skonto stadium. Next year significant changes will take place in the league - drawing of them is in the E-Magazine 03.

FK Ventspils head coach Roman Grigorchuk stressed that the motivation of the players for the winning TrioBet Baltic League is at its heights. "I let the young players do their debutes and show their best on Baltic League matches, besides, there is no need to motivate them – they are willing to play and the will is on its peak," said R.Grigorchuk.
